Current BaT Auction - Ends Wednesday, October 22, 2014
BaT friend Ed A. had his prized Triumph-based aluminum Special Roadster stolen from in front of his house in Berkeley on Thursday. It was on his red flatbed trailer behind his 1998 Dodge truck, and the whole lot was taken. He has reached out to us to say that it was reportedly seen headed east on I-680 some time later. He has also posted this Craigslist ad so that he can be contacted directly. Thanks for any assistance you can give! Ed is a very cool guy who deserves his car back!

This 1955 Austin Healey 100 (chassis BN1L22707B) is presented by its seller as a dealer-fitted M package car based largely on the fact that an old title lists the model name as "M100". A window sticker shows the car was last registered in 1971, and the car is thought to have been taken off the road around this time following a carb fire. Though rough, the seller describes it as largely complete with a free-turning motor. Find it here on eBay in South Bend, Indiana with no reserve. Special thanks to reader Patrick S. for the submission!
