1964 Daimler SP 250 Front

This Daimler SP250 has been built into a Cobra hunter by way of a tuned 307 Chevy V8 and 5-speed. The tall, wide tires on slot mags are out of place and we think Minilites would look a lot better, but the stroked 283 seems surprisingly at home under hood. These cars were known for flexy factory underpinnings, but fortunately the seller says this one has been beefed up to handle the significant power increase. Find it here on eBay in Seattle, Washington with no reserve. Special thanks to reader Al J. for the submission!

1974 BMW 2002 tii Black Turbo Hot Rod For Sale Rear

11/4/2014 Update: Three years later, this 1974 BMW 2002tii that we featured as a BaT Exclusive has now made its way to the Pacific Northwest and is being offered by a dealer there. Our seller sold the car to Texas in 2011, and he reached out when he again saw his car on offer. It is still one of our favorite 2002s that we have featured. Find it here on eBay in Portland, Oregon.

9/1/2011 Update: This BMW has been sold. Stay tuned for more BaT Exclusives!

From 8/10/2011:

This 1974 BMW 2002 started life as a really straight 1974 tii with rare Schwartz Black paint from the factory. In the last few months, the car has been restored with the intent to produce an advanced and sorted car in the style of the factory 1974 Turbo cars. The fuel-injected powerplant provides strong, smooth power all the way to red line, and thanks to the 5-speed and 3.90 LSD, shifting is on-boost to on-boost with no lag (the achilles heel of the factory Turbos). The seller is very well known in the 2002 community, and even after driving upwards of 100 2002's in his lifetime, he tells us that "this one is honestly the finest driving 2002 that I have ever driven."  It is available in Van Nuys, California for $24,500.
