BaT Auction 15: Now Open for Bidding! We are excited to announce another interesting group of submissions for BaT Auction #15. A 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 recently underwent a faithful restoration with some tasteful upgrades. A 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe features original paint and 67k miles. A 1959 MGA Twin Cam is one of just over 2000 examples produced and not too perfect to drive often. A pristine 1967 Volvo 122S is one of the nicest we've seen and features an original interior and overdrive. The 1985 Mazda RX-7 is a well-preserved example from a great caretaker. A 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7 has been extensively modified and is reported to melt the tires through 3rd gear. The 1972 Alfa Romeo GT Junior is well-sorted and one of the most affordable entries into the vintage Alfa GT market. The Giugiaro-designed 1994 Subaru SVX has 51k original miles and is in excellent mechanical condition. Click here to read more...   Rover V8 Swapped: 1963 AC Greyhound This 1963 AC Greyhound is one of 83 built, and though not perfect, looks good following a restoration that included the fitment of a Rover V8 and 5-speed in place of the original Bristol, AC or Ford-sourced six cylinder. Bodied in hand-formed aluminum, the Greyhound was essentially a restyled, long wheelbase, 2+2 version of the Aceca coupe, the seller claiming this example to be one of only three built with left-hand drive. Click here to read more...   Mostly Original: Two Owner 1959 Borgward Isabella TS Two Door Saloon This 1959 Borgward Isabella TS two door saloon (chassis 1149787) has been with the current owner since it was two years old, and though not registered since 1969 remains in impressive, mostly original condition and is said to drive well. Everything except the clock is described as in working order, and though rust is mentioned it's said to be limited to a single small hole on the driver's side rocker.
