This 1966 Jaguar Mk2 saloon was restored in the '90s by Roadster Group in Soesterberg, Netherlands. Instead of stock, they swapped in a modern aluminum Rover V8 and overdrive automatic, and also modern Jag seating and electronic A/C. We can imagine making this a regular commuter. This 1957 MGA Roadster has been parked since 1978 but fortunately stored indoors. Sheet metal looks to be straight and the seller describes it as rust-free. The car was under long-term ownership for 30 years, during which time a slow restoration effort never quite materialized. The engine is said to turn freely, and a spare parts cache including a second engine is available, though whether it's included in the selling price is unclear. Find it here on Craigslist in Kansas City, MO for $5800.

I can assure you that the Bavaria I won a few weeks ago (link) has found a loving home. Frankly I wasn't able to think of much else during the auction or since. It will share time with our '73 2002 that has just 65K on the clock. I am already making it my own by fixing little things and making a few minor changes. The transaction itself could not have gone more smoothly. After some tense moments near the auction close, the seller, Bill, called to congratulate me. I knew that the car was only 45 minutes or so away, and that proximity only added to my interest when I saw it listed. Bill told me that he was going to be heading out of town the following day but that he was available that afternoon or as soon as he returned early the following week. Well, I wanted to seize the moment and promptly called a friend who was ready and willing to make the drive with me.
