Original Owner: Beautifully Kept 1965 Fiat 1500GT Ghia

This 1965 Fiat 1500GT Ghia (chassis 7AT0670TX10318314) has been with the original owner and seller for half a century, following them from initial purchase in the long defunct African country of Rhodesia to their current home in New Zealand. Described as immaculately kept, the seller adds: "I don't drive it much anymore but this says far more about me than it does the about the car, for although we have aged together, my maintenance programme has not been as rigorous or as successful as that of the car, and the time has come to part ways so that it can begin a new life in the hands of its second loving owner." Find it here on eBay in Tauranga, New Zealand for $35k OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader Dan S. for this submission!

That being said, I figured I'd share with you the experience I've had thus far with the car. Using a forklift, I removed the car far enough off the trailer that I could rest it on some jack stands and pick it up from the side. However, I realized that ordinary jack stands were not going to work due to the appalling amount of rust underneath the car. So I took them, and tacked on some 6"x6" metal plates to see if spreading the load would work. It didn't. I then took some big pieces of wood...
