This 1974 VW thing (chassis 1832755081E) is a good looking driver running a brand new 1776cc motor and rebuilt original transmission. The matching numbers motor is also included but is partially disassembled, and the ad notes that the car features a new top, side curtains and more. Recently pulled from long term storage, the seller says that refurbishment utilized largely OEM VW parts and that less than three miles have been added since completion. Further said to be virtually rust-free apart from some rust near the vinyl top, it sounds to be in good mechanical condition but could stand to be repainted and cleaned up.
