We are excited to be taking part in our first Motherlode 400 this weekend! Today was the first full day of the 2-day event, and we covered 300+ miles of amazing roads through Gold Country in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. This is the 9th annual event, and we have long heard from our rally friends that this is a favorite of the California driving events. This is the second event that we planned to run in the Alfa Giulietta TI project car, but since that still isn't complete (argh!), we decided to run the 1972 Porsche 911T before it goes up for auction again, both to have one last hurrah, and also to show what it can do. Check out our full report and gallery from Day 1 below, and be sure to tune in tomorrow for more pics and coverage. Also leave a comment with any questions and photo requests on the many awesome cars here and we'll do our best to answer them!
