This 1959 Porsche 356 Convertible D has been with the same SoCal family since 1965, and though no longer matching numbers or wearing its factory correct color, it still sounds to be a good example with an interesting past. A low resolution photo within the ad shows it on track, and the seller briefly mentions what sounds to be extensive racing history. Find it here on Craigslist in San Diego, California for $159k. "BaT, The selling experience on BaT has been great thus far and the transaction with the buyer went smoothly. The shipper's driver arrived this morning to pick up the Miata and commented on what a funny (I think he was referring to the small size) and nice car it was. I'm looking forward to getting feedback from the buyer and hopes he likes the car as much as I did.

We dig the color, rake and detailing enough to overlook the SBC, but even that's an appropriately old-school looking 327. The automatic trans isn't a big sticking point either, though of course we'd prefer a three pedal setup. Find it here on Craigslist in Foothill Ranch, California for $31,900.
