Rosso Aurora: 1969 De Tomaso Mangusta
This 1969 De Tomaso Mangusta has been with the seller for 19 years, during which it’s undergone what sounds like a very high quality restoration with work including a De Tomaso factory respray in the car’s original and desirable Rosso Aurora orange. Delivered new to the president of Mexico, this history is traceable back to the car’s original title which is included in the sale. Find it here on eBay in Mexico City, Mexico with no reserve and fast bidding.
Messed With: 1966 Jaguar E Type Coupe
This 1966 Jaguar E-type runs a carbureted ZZ4 crate 350 and 6-speed manual trans. Said to have been built for reliability, the seller has driven it all across the US with no problems. Cosmetic quibbles aside, we have to admit it sounds like fun. Find it here on Craigslist in Oriental, North Carolina for $45k. Special thanks to BaT reader Jason C. for this submission.
V8 Swap Candidate: Engineless 1969 Aston Martin DBS
This 1969 Aston Martin DBS is a RHD, automatic transmission-equipped car sold without an engine. Though a bit scruffy and in need of some rust repair, the car doesn’t look too bad in photos and we think it’d be fun to swap in a Ford Coyote 5.0 liter–it already looks a bit like a Mustang anyway. Find it here on eBay in Los Angeles, California with a $54,500 BIN.
$3200 & 5600 Miles: 1953 Dodge Firetruck Project
This 1953 Dodge Firetruck is based on the marque’s then-current B-series. Stored inside for the majority of its life with what must have been considerable fire department attention, the truck looks great inside and out and has just 5,600 miles on the odometer. Find it here on dodgepowerwagon.com in Hazen, North Dakota for $3,200.
