Rebuilt Maser Motor: 5-Speed 1972 Citroen SM
This 1972 Citroen SM (chassis 00SB8641) is described as a trouble-free driver with good, possibly original paint and what looks like an equally nice driver-quality interior. A desirable 5-speed manual example, the car needs only minor sorting for things like an inop turn signal and out of adjustment handbrake. Find it here on eBay in Highland Park, Illinois with reserve not met.
Assembly Required: Blu Sera 1965 Ferrari 330GT Project
This 1965 Ferrari 330GT 2+2 (chassis 5763) is offered as a partially restored and 100% complete example with a non matching-numbers but model-correct and strong running V12. Purchased by the seller as a running, drivable car, it was pulled apart in order to restore its original–and gorgeous–Blu Sera over Grigio color combination. Find it here on eBay in Lake Forest, Illinois with reserve not met.
BaT Auction Success Story: A Happy VW Bug Buyer (w/Video)

I was the high bidder of this beautiful 1966 VW that was auctioned a couple of weeks ago. It has been delivered and I couldn't be happier!
The oft used cliché "the pictures don't do it justice" really does apply in this case. What an honest, great little example! John, the seller, was just the best throughout the whole transaction. He included books, receipts, spares, and friendship. I wanted to mention that especially because that is the beauty of the BaT community. This site is more than just cars…it is truly about the people that love them as well. I love reading the comments, enjoy putting my "2 cents" in on occasion, and look forward to following each and every auction. The BaT community really knows their stuff about everything automotive.
If there is a question you need answered, this is definitely the place to come for information, and you'll have a laugh or two in the process. And it doesn't matter if you are bidding on a VW or the $150,000 Ghia (sold the same week as my Beetle), the excitement level is the same…well, OK…almost!

IPD Everything: Upgraded 1990 Volvo 240 Turbo 5-Speed Wagon
This 1990 Volvo 240 Turbo wagon spent most of its 208k miles as an automatic equipped car, but now runs a World Class T-5 5-speed and an upgraded and rebuilt 1993 B230F Volvo motor. Overall the car sounds to be in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, and the seller adds that it’s 100% free of rust as well. Find it here on Craigslist in Franklin, North Carolina for $5k.
