Dusty 5-Speed: 1973 Citroen SM Basketcase
This 1973 Citroen SM (chassis 0059009124) is a desirable 5-speed manual example that sadly appears to have been neglected for many years. Sold with virtually no information apart from photos, we can see that rust and a tired interior will be the least of its new owner’s troubles, and that’s allowing for a highly unlikely scenario where the Maserati mechanicals and Olepneumatics aren’t totally shot, too. Find it here on Copart somewhere in Kentucky with no reserve beyond an unmet $850 opening bid. Special thanks to BaT reader Dave I. for this submission.
Like New: 6K Mile 2001 BMW 740i Sport
This 2001 BMW 740i (chassis WBAGG83481DN86719) has only 5,500 original miles on the odometer. 2001 was the last production year for the E38 chassis 7 series and this particular model has the most desired standard and optional equipment. This car sold for over $66k when new, and we love the M Parallel wheels and facelift headlights and taillights on this one, as well as the short wheelbase of the “i” as opposed to the “iL.” Find it here on AutoTrader in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for $30k.
1966 Sunbeam Tiger MkIA
This 1966 Sunbeam Tiger MkIA (chassis B9473293) is said to have been part of a “collection spanning four decades”, and though few other details are provided the car does looks to have remained essentially stock and is presented in better-than-average condition. The seller’s claims of pending quarter million dollar value is a bit presumptuous, but it is 100% fair to say that prices have steadily been on the rise for a while now. Find this one here on eBay in Michigan City, Indiana with no reserve.
Metal Dash & Overdrive: 1967 MGB GT
This 1967 MG MGB GT (chassis 67GHD3L124500) is a good-looking car that’s described as a three-owner, lifelong NorCal car that’s believed to be accident-free. Further said to have no body rust, floor and frame shots look good as well though there’s more than a little but of surface corrosion visible underneath the trunk’s carpet. Find it here on eBay in Burlingame, California with reserve not met.
