Running Project: 1964 Series I Jaguar E-Type
This 1964 Series I Jaguar E-Type [Chassis 881775] is on offer in driveable condition, but with extensive cosmetic needs. Apparently very complete, this early car is among the most desirable examples of the XKE. Compared to the relatively gawky later cars, this svelte Series I showcases the fundamental beauty of the shape. Find it here on eBay in Colleryville, Texas with reserve met. Special thanks to BaT reader Chuck G. for this submission.
Carolina Blue: 32K Mile 1975 Saab 99 Four Door
This 1975 Saab 99 is described by the seller as a two owner, 32k original mile example that’s been displayed at several big Swedish meets including a national Saab event. Condition looks to be spectacular, and the headliner is noted as being the only non-original part. Find it here on Craigslist in Worcester, Massachusetts for $6k. Special thanks to BaT reader Gary W. for this submission.
Loewy Masterpiece: 1953 Studebaker Commander
This 1953 Studebaker Commander is a good looking example of the famed Loewy Coupe, and was the marque’s first all new design (as well as the first all-new postwar automobile) since 1947. Presented in an understated but attractive Putty Gray, the lines of this car are allowed to shine on their own without distraction from excessive chrome or two-tone paint. Find it here on Hemmings in Sioux City, Iowa for $34,500.
