Nissan Skyline Swap: 1968 Triumph TR6
This 1968 Triumph TR6 is the result of what the seller claims is a $95k-plus build, the ad further detailing extensive and apparently very well-executed modifications including fitment of a 90’s JDM Nissan-sourced RB25DET turbocharged straight six and matching 5-speed transmission. With an upgraded turbo, we estimate output to be at least 300 HP at the crank, which in combo with appropriately upgraded suspension and brakes should make for a wild but potentially controllable ride–bring your A-game. Find it here on Craigslist in Pasadena,California for $45k. Special thanks to BaT reader Benjamin N. for this submission.
1963.5 Ford Galaxie 500
This 1963.5 Ford Galaxie 500 is described as a rust-free South Carolina-sourced car with a 352ci V8 and automatic transmission, the latter of which was rebuilt sometime last year. The car looks great in photos, and the seller adds that all factory spot welds remain. A 4-speed would be preferable, but we think it’d make a fine and mean-looking cruiser as-is. Find it here on Jalopy Journal, in Columbus, Ohio for $16k.
Two Door Extended Cab: 1965 Chevrolet Pick-Up
This 1965 Chevrolet crew cab pick-up is an unusual model from an era when trucks usually came with two doors (like this one, despite initial appearances) and six or eight foot beds. With its short payload area, this distant ancestor of today’s popularly configured full-size trucks provides some interesting contrast. Looking well-worn but not particularly beaten, this claimed 35k mile example is a rare find in more ways than one. Find it here on Craigslist in Monroe, Washington for $8k. Special thanks to BaT reader Robert M. for this submission.
Rare in the USA: 1990 BMW Z1
This 1990 BMW Z1 (VIN WBABA91000AL05367) is a rare example of the sportiest factory way to enjoy top-down driving with extra elbow room. Finished in Fun Yellow, apparently the rarest color on the Z1, this car appears almost white under studio lighting. Under real world conditions this color appears much closer to actual yellow. Find it here on Volvo Cars of Manhattan on Long Island (apparently at Ferrari-Maserati of Long Island) for $55,000. Special thanks to BaT reader Thomas P. for this submission.
