Rent a Wreck: 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H
This 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350H is offered with an appraisal from 6/2015 stating that it carries chassis 6S1681 and a genuine Hertz Shelby. At that time it was with the original owner who purchased it at Gateway Ford in Saint Louis, Missouri in 1967. The car was stored outdoors for many years, but many of the original Shelby parts look to be intact. It is quite uncommon for a genuine Shelby to be offered for public sale in this condition. Like Nuvolari Drove: 1935 Lancia Belna Project
This 1935 Lancia Augusta has been dry stored since the 1960s and is said to have run as recently as two years ago. BaT Lancia authority Ed L. send along the link, and says that this is actually a Belna model produced in France, and it is identical to the Augusta models from Italy apart from Jaeger gauges. “Hi Guys,
I found the Alfa on BaT (link). I tried to buy it on eBay, was outbid – then moved on to another Alfa that I competed with at the Colorado Grand. Then – the guy in Japan gets back to me in Feb. stating his first deal blew-up. I played coy, not expressing too much interest to the seller, then went about the business of learning more about the car. Through some contacts in the UK, I traced the guy who raced the car at Goodwood – Mr. Lincoln Small and contacted him. His story was fantastic:

TVR Based: 1966 Griffith Series 200 Project
This 1966 Griffith Series 200 (chassis 22740CA) is a third year model of the model conceived by Jack Griffith to compete against Carroll Shelby’s then-dominant AC Cobra. With just under 200 total units produced, these Ford V8 equipped cars are some of the more coveted vintage machines around. This mostly complete example is claimed to have been stored indoors for the last 40 years, and as a result is now in need of a total restoration.
