Paxton Supercharged: 1963 Studebaker Daytona R2
This 1963 Studebaker Daytona R2 is a claimed low mileage, numbers-matching example with factory Paxton supercharging. BaT Success Story: Forlorn to Fantastic Bonneville in 2000 Hours
This just in from the buyer & restorer of the 1957 Pontiac Bonneville basketcase that we featured on here on BaT back in 2012 (link).
“In November 2012, Bring a Trailer posted an article titled ‘Forlorn Fuelie’. It described one of America’s most beloved classics, the 1957 Pontiac fuel injected convertible. This article was brought to my attention by an avid car collector for whom I have been building cars for many years. The subject car was in a deplorable state of disrepair. It may have been beyond restoration but the challenge had to be met to save this piece of history. The following photos and text describe the arduous journey from forlorn to fantastic!
Well Kept 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4
This 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is a relatively low mileage example of the marque’s entry into the big-performance Japanese sports car market of the early 1990s. Seldom mentioned in the same breath as the Skyline, Supra or RX-7, these are nevertheless fast, sophisticated cars that work better as GT’s than some of their more hardcore competitors. Find this one here on Craigslist in Boise, Idaho for $14,900. Special thanks to BaT reader C W. for this submission.
