Rare Hardtop: 22K Mile 1987 Suzuki Samurai
This 1987 Suzuki Samurai (VIN JS4JC51V9H4117063) shows 22k miles and appears to be in excellent condition. Though the seller makes no originality or odometer accuracy claims, the little truck certainly does look as if it could remain largely factory. These hardtop versions are particularly rare, and the ad’s claims of no rust appear to be backed by underbody shots. Find it here on eBay in Happy Valley, Oregon with no reserve and fast bidding.
Side Pipes & Three Pedals: 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette is offered with no big claims of originality or matching-numbers, but is said to be in very good running, driving and cosmetic condition. Originally an L79 327/350 HP car, it now runs a non-original 327 which is mated to the preferred 4-speed manual. Side pipes and a good color combination are other pluses. Find it here on Craigslist in West Babylon, New York for $49,900.
Fresh Road & Track Build: 1988 BMW M3
This 1988 BMW M3 (VIN WBSAK0306J2196244) looks seriously impressive and is described by the seller as a “cost-no-object passion build.” Prepped to be street-legal but race-ready, it runs a fresh Pete McHenry built S14 and is said to have started from a pampered, accident-free donor. Mechanical details are a bit on the short side, but everything looks to be top-notch quality and the car is said to be the subject of an upcoming feature in Bimmer Magazine. Find it here on eBay in LaJolla, California for $89,500 OBO.
42 Years of Documentation: Sharp 1971 Triumph TR6
This 1971 Triumph TR6 (chassis CC64464L0) remained with one owner from 1973 until recently, and is said to be rust and accident-free, numbers-matching and documented with 42 years of records. The car looks great and sounds to be in very good running and driving condition, too. Find it here on Craigslist in Carmel Valley, California for $12,995. Special thanks to BaT reader T.
