Rare Mod Top: Restored 1969 Plymouth Barracuda
This 1969 Plymouth Barracuda (chassis BH23F9B131934) has been restored, with work including fresh paint, a new interior, mechanical sorting and more. Though its 318 keeps things rather mild, the car does feature a rare factory optioned “Mod Top” and matching upholstery. We’re not sure we’d want this option on our imaginary ‘Cuda, but it’s certainly unusual and interesting. Find it here on eBay in El Paso, Texas with reserve not met.
20K Mile Quattro Pioneer: 1985 Volkswagen Iltis by Bombardier
This 1985 Volkswagen Iltis by Bombardier is a license built version of VW’s pioneering 4×4 military car. These simple, rugged off-roaders proved their worth to Audi engineer Jรถrg Bensinger in the late 1970s on snow-covered roads in Finland, ultimately leading to the Quattro system developed for that eponymous rally legend. Find this one here on Craigslist Coburg, Oregon for $9,950.
Good Looking Project: 1979 Fiat X1/9
This 1979 Fiat X1/9 is a complete-looking project that’s been parked inside for ten years. The car sounds to be on offer by its original owner, and though not currently runnings, looks to have quite decent cosmetics both inside and out. Late production DOT bumpers aren’t ideal, but condition and price make for a compelling winter project candidate. Find it here on Craigslist in Lake Mary, Florida for $2,500.
