50% Running: Four 1973 Citroen SM Projects
These four 1973 Citroen SMs are all projects, two of which are only partially disassembled and are in running condition while the remainder of the lot are described as parts cars. Fortunately all are claimed rust-free for one less worry. Body panels and a "collection of parts" are included along with a rebuilt V6 and two transmissions, one 5-speed and one automatic. Find them here on eBay in San Jose, California with reserve not met.
BaT Auction Success Story: Bond Formed Over 1963 VW Beetle Transaction
This just in from the Buyer and Seller of the restored 1963 Volkswagen Beetle that was sold via BaT Auctions last month (link).
From the buyer:
“Hi BaT,
I was looking for a ’67 Beetle and when I saw this remarkable '63 Beetle on BaT and I couldn't resist bidding on the car. Fortunately and surprisingly, my bid prevailed, which I then had to explain to my wife. ‘Honey, I won the auction!’ Happily, she also loved the car at first sight.
Juan reached out to me immediately after the auction closed so we could discuss the car and our concluding the sale. A week later, I got to meet Juan at his warehouse in Miami where he allowed me to inspect and drive the car before we concluded the sale. The Beetle is everything it was described to be. He also generously allowed me to store the car in his warehouse until I found a carrier, which he helped to find and the car is now in Santa Fe. It is a good thing I did not meet Juan until after the sale. He is such a fun and enthusiastic guy that I would probably paid more for his car. The bonus was meeting a kindred spirit who made the whole process all the fun the car hobby can be. Thanks BaT, I bought a great car and made a good friend in the process. How great is that?
My compliments to you and your staff at BaT. The auction presentations are well done and Zac has been helpful each time I contacted BaT with a problem or a question. Hey, I am still interested in a '67, so keep them coming.

Wanted to share with you some photos just sent by the buyer of the 1963 VW Beetle that I sold through your BaT auctions recently. It was my first time selling through BaT and it was a great experience. I enjoyed reading the tons of reader comments, funny how most revolved around the roof rack! It was a good deal for both and the buyer could not be any nicer! We had a very smooth transaction and the Beetle is now with its new owner in New Mexico. In fact, we became fast friends and are planning on participating in a vintage car rally in New Mexico in 2016.

Chopped 4″, the A-bone has great stance, great details, and has been featured in national publications. Built in the Hilton style, and sprayed in satin black, this car definitely gets “A” from us.
