600 RWHP & 2200 Pounds: 1967 Ferrari 330 P4 Recreation
This Ferrari 330P4 Recreation is built on a 1967 330GT chassis (SN 5745), but power comes from a tuned 550 Maranello V12 reportedly good for nearly 600 HP at the rear wheels. Said to be the third such replica built by Jim Carpenter at Italian Design and Racing in Arizona, the car looks incredible inside and out, but we’d gladly sacrifice a few hundred horsepower for the sight and sound of the donor 330’s carb-fed Colombo twelve under the rear clam shell. Twin Cam Swapped: 1967 Abarth OT 1000 Spider
This 1967 Fiat 850 Abarth Spider (chassis 100GS0019860) packs a tuned 2.0 liter twin cam in what seems to be an original OT 1000 body as indicated by the model data plate. The newer engine includes approximately twice the displacement of the original Abarth unit, along with a healthy increase in power. This Giugiaro styled Spider appears to be in nice shape, and nothing seems missing aside from the original engine and wheels. Find it here on Craigslist in Greenville, South Carolina for $27,900.
One of 21,529,464: 1999 Volkswagen Beetle Shell in Kentucky
This 1999 Volkswagen Beetle shell is from a late production, Mexican made model. Built in Puebla until 2003, the seller says this car was imported new by a California company that pulled the running gear for use in some sort of off-road vehicle. The car, or what’s left of it, looks to be in very nice condition with most trim, all glass, full weatherstripping and a partial interior. There’s no title, but for the price we’re intrigued–maybe it’d make a good basis for a box-fresh Class 11 Baja build? Find it here on Craigslist in Edmonton, Kentucky for $1,200.
$6500 High Miler: 1984 Porsche 928S 5-Speed
This 1984 Porsche 928S (VIN WP0JB0921ES860942) is a high mile 5-speed example benefiting from a recent timing belt and water pump replacement. Cosmetics are generally what we’d classify as driver level, with the odd but interesting olive green leather interior seemingly holding up rather well.
