Immaculate Restoration: 1970 Porsche 914-6 in Adriatic Blue
This 1970 Porsche 914-6 is among the highest priced we’ve seen in some time, but its incredible condition and interesting story make it worth a look anyway. Literally owned by the guy who wrote the book on auto detailing, the car looks obsessively cared for and presents as pretty much immaculate anywhere the camera has been pointed. Final Edition Clone: 1989 Lancia Delta Integrale 16V in the US
This 1989 Lancia Delta Integrale (VIN ZLA831AB000520361) wears a genuine Evoluzione body kit and Speedline wheels. Described as rust free with 51k miles, its turbocharged, four valve head Lampredi four has been rebuilt and modified for increased power, and even if it’s not a legit Evo, it still looks utterly fantastic. Find it here on eBay in Stamford, Connecticut with reserve not met.
Sleeve Valves & 100 Plus MPH: 1929 Stearns-Knight J-8-90 Sedan Deluxe
This 1929 Stearns-Knight J-8-90 Sedan Deluxe was completely restored sometime after the seller's purchase in 1990, prior to which it had been sitting in storage for half a century. Said to be one of 11 surviving J-8-90 Sedans from the marque's final year, the car features an interesting sleeve valve straight eight which was rebuilt by a specialist shop during the restoration. Find it here on Hemmings in Old Mystic, Connecticut for $75k OBO.
951 Slayer: LS1 Swapped 1988 Porsche 944
This 1988 Porsche 944 (VIN WP0AB0946JN470154) runs what appears to be a well executed engine swap from a 2000 C5 Corvette as well as a 951 Turbo spec transaxle in order to handle the added torque. The exterior has a few blemishes, but presents pretty well apart from the unfortunately blacked-out phone dial OEM wheels. Find it here on eBay in Siloam Springs, Arkansas with a $14,500 BIN.
