No Reserve: 1969 Fiat Campagnola 4×4
This 1969 Fiat Campagnola (chassis 005964) underwent a restoration (to a slightly scruffy, driver quality) in 2012 that’s said to have included a respray in its original white. Mechanicals were attended to as well, but no specifics are mentioned outside it traveling 2,000 kilometers since. This example is a diesel with four wheel-drive, and a previous owner sourced a factory-looking hard top. Find it here on eBay in Kearney, New Jersey with no reserve.
No Reserve: Matching Numbers 1966 Porsche 911
This 1966 Porsche 911 (chassis 304572) is a sharp, correct-looking early SWB model originally owned by Mid-Century modernist architect Gordon Stice. Picked up in Stuttgart, Stice and his wife toured Europe for six weeks prior to returning to LA, and remained the car’s owners until 2004 when it was sold to a junior business associate. Described as matching-numbers and sympathetically restored, the car is said to run and drive as good as it looks. Find it here on eBay in Los Angeles, California with no reserve and fast bidding. Special thanks to BaT reader AMF for this submission.
Mostly Matching Numbers: 1963 Jaguar E-type FHC Project
This 1963 Jaguar E-type FHC (chassis 888031) is offered as a partially restored example complete with a matching-numbers engine block and cylinder head. Described as straight and rust-free, the car sounds to be nearly ready for for final bodywork prep, but all mechanicals as well as the interior are still in need of restoration. Find it here on Craigslist in San Marcos, California for $35k. Special thanks to BaT reader Ed T. for this submission.
Rusty w/ No Reserve: 1966 Volkswagen Type 2 Single-Cab Dropside
This 1966 Volkswagen Type 2 (chassis 266081093) is a cool single-cab, dropside pick-up that’s said to be in running, drivable condition despite quite a bit of body and undercarriage rust. We’ve seen worse restored however, and this one’s no reserve auction format means that there’s potential for a good buy. Find it here on eBay in San Juan Capistrano, California.
