$8K Price Drop Update: Nissan Skyline-Swapped 1968 Triumph TR6
2/11/2016 Update: Just under half a year later, this Nissan RB25DET turbo six-swapped 1968 Triumph TR6 is back on the market for a full $8k less than last time around. Professionally built to the tune of a claimed $95k-plus, it looks very well put-together inside, out and especially under the hood, where cleverly disguised mechanicals preserve an almost period-correct, all-British look. The seller estimates at least 300 HP at the crank, and adds that it’s reliable, fast and drives like a sorted, modern car. Find it here on Craigslist in Pasadena, California for $37k. Special thanks to BaT reader Goofer for this submission.
Under Water: Flood Damaged 1996 Rolls Royce Silver Spur w/ No Reserve
This 1996 Rolls Royce Silver Spur (VIN SCAZN11C1TCX57202) has been damaged in a flood and is not currently running as a result. The seller suspects it will need all new electrics, which may be easier said than done. The car does look complete and reasonably good however, despite lots of dirt and a damaged grille and rear bumper. Find it here on eBay in Harverhill, Massachusetts with no reserve.
318 Abbiategrasso: Mopar-Swapped Ferrari Macchine Agricole
This Ferrari tractor is listed as a 1980, though we gather the model year may be just a guess. Listed as an Macchine Agricole, this translates simply as “tractor”, and doesn’t actually seem to be an official model designation. Research turned up many other Ferrari (no connection to Enzo and Modena) tractors and mechanized farming implements, though nothing resembling this strange, articulated, portal axle-equipped, four wheel-drive beast. Sold in operable condition, it runs a 318 Mopar swapped in place of what was likely a small, industrial diesel four-cylinder fitted at the Abbiategrasso factory. Find it here on Craigslist in Las Cruces, New Mexico for $5k. Special thanks to BaT reader William H. for this submission.
Running Project: 1985 Hartge H5S
This 1985 BMW 5-series Hartge H5S (VIN WBADA710808465667) is offered as a running, driving project with what the seller describes as minimal rust. An authentic, factory-modified car, it carries both BMW and Hartge chassis tags and is said to be complete apart from the Hartge valve cover–correct wheels sound to be included separately. Find it here on Craigslist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for $12,500. Special thanks to BaT reader Gooffer for this submission.
