Original Builder & Owner: 1961 Kellison J-6

1961 Corvette Frame/Kellison J-6 Body

This 1961 Kellison J-6 (chassis DRF50785) was ordered by the original owner, builder and seller on April 20th, 1963. Built around a then-two year-old Corvette frame, the car was finished and first registered as a SPCNS (special construction) in summer of 1964. Still licensed and insured, the seller replaced its original 327/4-speed with a ’70 350 SBC and automatic combination a few years ago, and sale includes all documentation as well as a build card. This 1958 MG MGA coupe is a 1500 model that’s said to be fresh from a high desert garage where it spent the previous four decades in storage. Further claimed to have had one previous owner, the seller admits to surface rust but says that the sills, frame and body all look good.
