Early Plywood Chassis 1966 Marcos 1500 GT
This 1966 Marco GT (chassis 5019) is an early, RHD, plywood chassis model that’s described as all-original apart from paint. A third model year example, the fiberglass clam shell hood hides a 1500 Ford Kent four-cylinder. Though suffering from a high hot idle, it’s otherwise said to run and drive excellently. Find it here on eBay in Manchester, Connecticut with reserve not met.
Daytona Blue 327/4-Speed w/ Posi: 1964 Chevrolet Corvette
This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette is said to have been thoroughly restored 15 years ago, and though not a matching-numbers car, its nice colors, apparently good condition, and mildly built 327/4-speed/Posi drivetrain combo make it worth a look. The incorrect big block hood won’t please everyone, but that’s an easy swap. Find it here on Craigslist in Warwick, Rhode Island for $41,900.
Four Wheeler Genesis: 1948 Morgan 4/4 Series 1 Flat Radiator
This 1948 Morgan 4/4 is an early Series 1 car wearing the standard, distinctive flat-front radiator grille that gave the model its popular nickname. Said to have been restored in England during the 80’s, the seller adds that it’s been in long-term US storage for many years. The car is further claimed to retain its original engine, which is described somewhat open-endedly as “loose.” Find it here on Craigslist in Houston, Texas for $39,500.
