900 Mile Range: Custom 1977 Chrysler Town & Country/New Yorker
This 1977 Chrysler New Yorker/Town & Country wagon (chassis CP45T7D232044) is a nicely finished-looking custom built from a ’76 example of the former, and a ’77 example of the latter. Notably, parts from both donor cars retain their factory original black paint, and as seen here, panel finish matches surprisingly well. Power comes from a swapped-in, later model, fuel injected 350 and 700R4 automatic drivetrain combination, and the seller says it will cruise effortlessly at 70 MPH while returning 18 MPG–not bad at all for such a land barge. Find it here on eBay in Columbia, Tennessee for $11,500 OBO.
Mechanically Restored & Matching Numbers: 1959 AC Ace Bristol
This 1959 AC Ace (chassis BEX1071) is described as a matching-numbers, two owner, (almost) lifelong California car. Though last on the road in 1978, it now benefits from a professionally rebuilt motor, gearbox, new brakes, and more, the seller noting that many NOS and no reproduction parts were used. Extensively documented, it looks incredible in bare metal, and sounds to be ready to drive–cosmetic finishing can come later. Find it here on eBay in Salem, Oregon with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.
Nicely Restored 2.0 Liter: Laguna Blue 1975 Porsche 914
This 1975 Porsche 914 is a late production model with the desirable 2.0 liter motor, Appearance Group option, and a beautiful, rare factory color. Recently, professionally restored by model experts, the car looks virtually new in photos, and it said to run and drive very well with only 59k and change miles from new. Find it here on eBay in Bridgewater, New Jersey with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader AMF for this submission.
One Owner, Same Options: 390 S-Code 1968 Ford Torino and Ranchero GT’s
This pair of 1968 Fords are both factory S-code 390 FE-series big-block equipped cars, each claimed to have been with the same owner since new. Just as impressively, they’re described as all stock and untouched from new. The matching paint schemes are too cool, and both are automatic, console and bucket seat examples. The Torino’s mileage is quoted at 85k, with 70k for the Ranchero. Find them here on Craigslist in Surrey, BC, Canada for $25k CAD (~$19k USD today) the pair. Special thanks to BaT reader Simon A. for this submission.
