Bridgehampton Blue: Matching-Numbers LS5/4-Speed 1971 Corvette
This 1971 Corvette Stingray coupe looks excellent in what appears to be factory Bridgehampton Blue, and is claimed to be a numbers-matching LS5 454/4-speed car with working, original A/C. These early C3’s are great looking cars, and this one looks just about ideal aside from the luggage rack. The seller adds that it runs excellently, and sale includes the original tank sticker/build order. Find it here on Craigslist near Portland, Oregon for $36,900. Special thanks to BaT reader Rob H. for this submission.
Factory 331 Cadillac Power: 1954 Allard K3 on The H.A.M.B.
This 1954 Allard K3 roadster is said to be one of just 62 produced between 1952 and 1956, of which 57 made it to this side of the pond. British built and engineered with factory Cadillac or Chrysler hemi V8 power, these cars can be considered Proto-Cobras, leading the way for that and similar Anglo-American machines like the Tiger. Cosmetically restored and mechanically sorted, this 331 Caddy-powered car is said to be fast, welcome at numerous vintage events, and registered in the Allard registry. Find it here on Jalopy Journal in Dayton, Ohio for $125k.
1500 Miles in 75 Years: Strong-Running 1941 Chevrolet CMP 4×4
This 1941 Chevrolet Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) truck was used by British Commonwealth forces during WW2. Having traveled a claimed, somewhat incredible sounding 1,500 miles in the three quarters of a century since it was new, the ad further says that it has spent large portions of its life in museums and collections. Presented in unrestored condition, this 4×4 truck is powered by a 216ci Chevy straight-six and still looks tough–even with the name “MARY” prominently worn on its bluff nose. Find it here on eBay in Richmond, Texas for $14k OBO.
Ex-Japanese Fire Department: 1981 Toyota Hilux 4×4 w/ 11K Miles
This 1981 Toyota Hilux is an ex-fire truck model that appears to have served in its native Japan. On offer with only 17,618 kilometers (or just under 11k miles), photos are washed out in bright sunlight, but the truck does appear to be in good condition, including unusually ornate gold lettering and pinstriping details. A 2.0 liter, 18R gasoline four-cylinder/manual transmission-equipped truck with factory 4×4, it looks to retain all its original sirens and lights, though whatever actual firefighting equipment it once carried is long-gone. Find it here on Craigslist in Lockhart, Texas for $12,500.
