3/8/2016 Update: One more year later almost to the day, this 1982 AMC Eagle SX/4 rally car is on offer again, this time with a full $5k knocked off the the last asking price. Raced in SCCA Pro Rally events from new, the seller adds that it’s nearly ready to stage, but will need new harnesses and unspecified “tweaking” prior to scrutineering. Find it here on Craigslist in Detroit, Michigan for $7k. Special thanks to BaT reader Burgher for this submission.
3/16/2015 Update: Another 4+ years later, this 1982 AMC Eagle rally car is again on offer but now in running and driving condition. A new seat and engine-out freshening of the V8 is mentioned and pictured since our last feature. Find it here on Craigslist in Clarkston, Michigan for $12k. Special thanks to BaT reader Robby A.C. for this update!
10/6/2011 Update: Over eight months later, this AMC is being offered on eBay by a new owner who has pulled it out of the yard where we featured it below. He has flushed all the fluids, taken much better photos including undercarriage, performed a compression check, and traced as much history as he could. We say bravo if the reserve isn’t too crazy, a solid BaT effort! Find it here on eBay in Longmont, Colorado. Special thanks to BaT reader Chris T. for the update!
