Nicest Left: 1978 Ford Granada Ghia Two-Door
This 1978 Ford Granada (VIN 8W81F213910) is described as a well-kept, strong-running, and mostly original example. Excluding the seller, it’s had only two, women owners from the same family, and is further claimed to have been a Western state car since new. The listing’s dozens of photos show it to be well-preserved from all angles, including under the hood where it retains clean factory chalk markings. An up-market Ghia example, power comes from an optional F-code 302ci V8. Find it here on eBay in Boise, Idaho with reserve not met.
Daily Supercar: Sharp 59K Mile 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo
This 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo is a 59k mile example in what appears to be excellent shape throughout. This first generation of water-cooled Turbos was the first to offer an automatic transmission option, though this example is ideally equipped with the standard 6-speed and a classic silver over black color combo. These all wheel-drive, forced induction 996 models offer outrageous bang-for-the-buck, with all-weather supercar performance in a relatively practical, daily drivable package. This one is said to have stickered at $152k new. Find it here on Craigslist in Garden Grove, California for $43k.
Project Yard Sale: Citroen SM, Lotus Europa & Others
This unusual Craigslist ad lists several different interesting old vehicles for sale, all in various states of disrepair. Aside from the Europa and SM seen here, the seller also offers a Fiat X1/9, Triumph TR7, two VW Caddys, a Spitfire, and more. There’s even a FWD GMC motorhome. Both Lotus and Citroen appear to be almost complete, though only the French car still runs–both will obviously need full restorations, and based on the SM’s visible exterior rust, the Europa is likely to need a replacement backbone chassis despite decent-looking fiberglass bodywork. Find them all here on Craigslist in Kennedale, Texas listed with individual prices, including $3,900 for the Lotus and $6,800 for the Citroen. Special thanks to BaT reader Pehr J. for this submission.
Fresh From Storage: Dusty but Promising 1972 De Tomaso Pantera L
This 1972 De Tomaso Pantera (chassis THPNMG02648) was recently pulled from storage after more than a decade, and although the car is almost certainly now due for a mechanical refresh, it remains in good condition overall. It also appears to be complete, and has been kept mostly stock aside from a newer aftermarket wheel and seats. Find it here on eBay in Dallas, Texas for $61k OBO.
