Running Automatic Project: $20K 1982 Ferrari 400i
This 1982 Ferrari 400i is described as a runner with a healthy engine and automatic transmission. Listed as a partially finished project, the seller says it still needs paint, interior work, and a new piece of glass for the rear. Details are otherwise very limited, but it looks as if some bodywork could probably be added to that list as well. Find it here on Craigslist in Braintree, Massachusetts for $20k firm.
217 of 500: 1989 Shelby CSX w/ Factory Composite Wheels
This 1989 Shelby CSX (#217 of 500) is a mildly upgraded example from the final year of production, and sports a number of interesting items not seen on earlier examples. One of the more interesting changes included factory fitment of a variable geometry Garrett turbo, endowing these Dodge Shadow-based cars with a very broad powerband. This one was originally fitted with interesting, composite construction Fiberride wheels and excellent-looking Recaros, and though the former are included, they’re not currently fitted. Mileage is said to be only 46k, and the car looks extremely well-kept inside and out. Find it here on Craigslist in Minneapolis, Minnesota for $9,500.
440 Super Bee Tribute: 1969 Dodge Coronet
This 1969 Dodge Coronet started life as a relatively mild 318 car, but now runs a 440 that was fitted about ten years ago. Other work included adding Super Bee tribute stripes, badging, hood, and other details, which without resorting to detailed, side-by-side comparisons, all appear to have been done pretty well. The car looks good underneath as well, and though ultimately just a tribute, it’s been priced accordingly. Find it here on Hemmings in Bedford, New Hampshire for $27,500 OBO.
Honda’s First Sports Machine: Nicely Restored 1962 CB77 Super Hawk
This 1962 Honda CB77 Super Hawk is a second year example of the bike widely credited as the company’s first truly sporting offering. Despite the 77 nomenclature, power came from a 305cc, OHC parallel twin capable of 28 HP and 9,000 RPM. Performance was on par with similarly configured but larger-engined British bikes of the era, with the added benefit of better build quality and reliability. This one looks exceptionally good, and has been restored to what sounds like a highly accurate standard. Find it here on eBay in San Anselmo, California for $5,700 OBO.
