Tragic Trio: Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Parts Donors
This trio of early 60’s Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprints is more of an assortment of parts than it is of restorable cars. None have chassis tags, titles, or even engines, and one of has been literally cut in half to boot. Sale does include one complete gearbox however, and a few pieces of glass and other trim might be salvageable as well. Find them all here here on eBay in Columbia, South Carolina with a $3,300 BIN.
Excellent Colors, Spec & History: 1986.5 Porsche 928S 5-Speed
This 1986.5 Porsche 928S (VIN WP0JB0924GS861330) looks well-kept, wears a great color combo, and comes equipped with the preferred 5-speed manual gearbox option. Said to have been owned by a Porsche trained tech since the early 1990’s, the car is an excellent factory mix of early bodystyle, S4 Brakes, and 5.0 liter, DOHC per bank, 32 valve V8–twice as many cams and valves as on most pre-facelift cars. Sale includes a full set of service records, original manuals, and tools. Find it here on eBay in Mesa Arizona for $30k OBO.
Quad Weber Stacked 347/5-Speed: Street & Strip 1964 Mercury Comet
This 1964 Mercury Comet (chassis 4H23F528910) started life as an F-code 260ci V8/4-speed car, but now packs a quad downdraft Weber-fed, Dart block, aluminum head 347/Tremec TKO 600 5-speed underhood. Back-halved with an adjustable four-link, the car runs discs and a power assisted rack and pinion in front, and looks fantastic in photos. Find it here on eBay in Cincinnati, Ohio with reserve not met.
50’s Ride-On Projects: Two Divco Juniors w/ Parts
This Divco Jr. collection includes some of the pieces needed to make at least one functional miniature milk truck, with plenty of leftovers. Produced by Robel in the 1950’s, these trucks, along with other models based on cars like the 1961 Thunderbird, C1 Corvette, 1958 DeSoto Fireflite, and 1958 Edsel would have made you the coolest kid on the block. Picturing this project as a model kit is helpful, as the two bodies pictured come with a partially tack-welded frame, a 5.5 HP Honda motor, wheels and other pieces. Find it here on eBay in Grimes, Iowa with no reserve beyond an unmet $2,500 starting bid.
