Factory Look Cummins Turbodiesel Swap: 1996 Ford Bronco
This 1996 Ford Bronco has been fitted with a 12 valve turbodiesel Cummins, and the ad goes into quite a bit of detail on work performed. Professionally converted in 2009 by GOS Performance of Livingston, Montana, the seller points out its factory underhood appearance, as well as the fact that everything including Ford OEM A/C works properly. Overall a very impressive sounding swap, into what looks like quite a well preserved truck. Find it here on Craigslist on Orcas Island, Washington for $27,500.
35K Miles: 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6
This 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6 (VIN ZARAA6696G1007829) is said to be in like-new condition throughout, the ad further reporting ~34k miles from new. Photos aren’t very good, but what can be made out does look quite impressive, particularly paint and bodywork. The car has seen little use in recent years, and the seller provides virtually no info on current mechanical condition, though it is said to remain completely original. Find it here on eBay in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a $25k BIN. Special thanks to BaT reader David W. for this submission.
Cheap Fun: Well Kept 1989 Acura Integra RS 5-Speed
This 1989 Acura Integra RS has a lot of miles at 303k, but has been with the seller and second owner since 1991, and is described as well maintained and good running. The car looks straight and pretty tidy too, especially considering its odometer reading. A 5-speed manual example, these first generation models are fun to drive, good looking, and almost never break if treated even with a shred of mechanical sympathy–they’ve also become somewhat rare recently, especially stock, cared for examples like this one appears to be. Find it here on Craigslist in Milliken, Colorado for $1,900 OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader Chris K. for this submission.
Big Valve w/ No Reserve: 1974 Lotus Europa Twin Cam Special
This 1974 Lotus Europa Special (chassis 743983R) features a big valve twin cam, and though it hasn’t been driven in about a year, it is said to be in complete, operational condition. Despite that claim, the battery is dead, and the seller recommends a mild refresh as well. Cosmetics are said to be original, but don’t appear too needy, and the car seems like it could be an excellent starting point for a mild, driver quality refurb. Find it here on eBay in Dumont, New Jersey with a $6k opening bid and no further reserve.
