Museum Ready Dinosaur: 14K Mile 1975 Lincoln Continental Mark IV

Lincoln Mark Series Coupe | eBay

This 1975 Lincoln Continental Mark IV (chassis 5Y89A84251) is said to be all original with just 13,507 miles. Like nearly all old luxury cars, these early Malaise Era dinosaurs eventually ended up as cheap and disposable third-hand used cars, a cycle accelerated by the energy crisis. As a result, most disappeared pretty quickly, and of those that remain, very few if any are probably as nice as this example appears to be, especially if it’s as original as claimed. Find it here on eBay in Chester, New York with reserve not met.

Original 1989 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Notchback Coupe

This 1989 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 is described as an original one owner car with good mechanicals. Find it here on Craigslist in Lakewood, California for $4,500 OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader AMF for this submission.

Winter Wedge: 1987 Lotus Esprit HCi in Alaska

Lotus Esprit HCI | eBay

This 1987 Lotus Esprit HCi (VIN SCCFC20A8HHF60918) marks one of the last third-generation cars, with the marque moving to the Peter Stevens restyled X180 model later that year. Styling was still very similar to the original Giugiaro shape on these cars, with this one having belonged to the seller since 2007. It’s since benefited from quite a lot of work, including a complete engine rebuild and what sounds to be a thorough “going-through” of the gearbox as well. Find it here on eBay in Eagle River, Alaska with reserve not met.
