One Family Car w/ 29K Miles: Super Sharp 1985 Ford Mustang GT 5-Speed
This 1985 Ford Mustang GT is described a matching-numbers, all original example that’s been under the ownership of one family since new. Further described as garage kept with just 29k miles, this 5-speed equipped car looks excellent inside and out, and mods are both limited and very well chosen, including subframe connectors, a Holley carb, roller rockers, a 3.73 rear end, 140 MPH speedometer and an aluminum driveshaft. Find it here on Craigslist in Bergen, New York for $13,500. Special thanks to BaT reader Ken W. for this submission.
440 Swapped w/ No Reserve: 1968 Chrysler Town & Country
This 1968 Chrysler Town & Country (chassis CE45H8C144800) was purchased by the seller in pieces about a year and a half ago, during which time its original, seized 383 was swapped for a 440. The ad also notes new brakes (power discs in front), fresh OEM style carpets, and a full dual exhaust. Cosmetics are very nice, and both paint and “wood” trim are said to remain factory original. The seller claims more than $10k invested, further noting that nearly everything including the power tailgate window works properly. Find it here on eBay in Denver, Colorado with no reserve.
Not a Puma: Corvair Powered 1969 Fiberfab Bonanza
This 1969 Fiberfab Bonanza is said to be based on a German-manufactured body kit, underneath which sits a VW Type 3 pan and a Corvair drivetrain. The car is said to run and drive with good brakes, though the seller admits that carbs could use some attention. Though it could use some cosmetic sorting as well, overall the car appears to be in good condition, and with some TLC it could really shine. Find it here on eBay in Minneapolis, Minnesota with reserve not met.
Impressive 7K Mile 5-Speed: 1994 Honda Del Sol VTEC
This 1994 Honda Del Sol VTEC is said to be in excellent original condition with just 7,200 miles from new. Though these cars are often overlooked, any follow-up to the sublime second generation CRX was sure to have a hard time winning accpetance. They’re actually quite good to drive, especially with a high-revving twin cam like the 160 HP B16 fitted to this 5-speed example, whose condition looks to be very good in accordance with low claimed mileage. Find it here on Honda Tech about an hour north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for $10k OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader Justin D. for this submission.
