No Reserve Rarity: 1988 Mitsubishi Galant Sigma
This 1988 Mitsubishi Galant Sigma (VIN JA3BB47S9JY008004) is a rare sight–only one other has been featured on BaT. Though not quite as nice as the last, this one still looks very good for its age, the seller noting full functionality (including blowing cold A/C) and absolutely no rust. Even when new, these big Mitsus were pretty scarce, but it’s probably safe to guess that less than a few dozen or so good ones remain. Find this one here on eBay in Beacon, New York with no reserve beyond an unmet $200 starting bid.
Nice 5-Speed: 1990 Honda Prelude Si
This 1990 Honda Prelude Si (VIN JHMBA4138LC028569) is said to have had one previous owner, and sale includes a large file of service records. Further claimed to retain all original paint, the ad says that mechanicals are “very close to perfect,” further noting full functionality–presumably including A/C. A 5-speed manual example, the only way this one could be specced better is if it had Honda’s excellent mechanical 4WS system fitted. Find it here on eBay in Cumming, Georgia for $4k OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader AMF for this submission.
Split Bumper Daily Driver: 1969 MGB GT
This 1969 MGB GT is described as partially restored, with both mechanicals and the interior having received attention under the seller’s watch. An attractive looking driver, the ad notes a fresh motor and “reworked” gearbox and brakes as well. Find it here on Craigslist in Abbotsford, BC, Canada for $8k CAD (~$6,250 USD today). Special thanks to BaT reader Peter M. for this submission.
Not a Cord: 1941 Graham Hollywood Supercharged Driver
This 1941 Graham Hollywood (chassis 700725) is a factory supercharged model that’s said to have been with the same owner since 1958, with documentation stretching back to that same year. Restored to original spec in the 1980’s, it’s spent much of the past 20 years in storage, but was recently lightly recommissioned for road use. Now said to start, run and drive very well, cosmetics will need refreshing, but look perfectly serviceable for a driver as-is. Find it here on eBay in Clinton Township, Michigan with for $28,500 OBO.
