Rare in the USA: 1962 Holden EK Utility
6/30/2016 Update: Almost two and a half years later, this 1962 Holden EK ute is back on the market, apparently offered by the same seller as last time. Described as 90% restored, a handful of new photos seem to have been added, and condition looks to be much the same as last time around, with excellent, if not 100% correct driver level cosmetics. The seller says its original 132ci straight-six runs perfectly, and a spare motor and 3-speed, column shifted manual transmission are included as well. Potential Bargain: Good Looking 1973 MGB GT
This 1973 MGB GT looks excellent as photographed, the seller describing it as being their passion project of 10 years. The car’s apparently very sharp cosmetics are what initially caught our attention, though the ad really only contains info regarding maintenance and upgrades, a few of which include a 45 DCOE Weber carb, a ceramic coated header, and Minator wheels. Not a Dodge: 1990 Nissan Caravan Turbodiesel 4×4
This 1990 Nissan Caravan was imported by the seller three years ago, and is claimed to be in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition with 68k documented miles. A turbodiesel 5-speed 4×4 example, it’s also very well equipped with working dual A/C, twin sunroofs, electric sliding curtains, reconfigurable seats, a beverage cooler and more. $3K 5-Speed Driver: Scruffy 1982 Porsche 928
This 1982 Porsche 928 is said to be on offer by its original owner, and though reportedly running and drivable, very little other hard info is provided unfortunately. That said, the car is a desirable and relatively rare 5-speed example, and though in need of cosmetic work in addition to probable mechanical needs, condition looks to be a cut above what manual equipped drivers at this price range normally offer. Find it here on Craigslist in West Covina, California for $3k.
