Nicely Done Lotus Tribute: 1965 Ford Cortina Wagon
This 1965 Ford Cortina wagon has been given a Lotus tribute restomod treatment and looks excellent throughout. Running a mild big valve Lotus twin cam good for an estimated 140-150 HP, a 5-speed gearbox, and four-wheel discs, the seller says it drives as good as it looks. Interestingly, the car is very well documented, including via a link provided in the ad–apparently, this project started from one of BaT’s earliest posts. Find it here on eBay in suburban Chicago, Illinois with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Paul B. for this submission.
Former Dealer Fitted 426 Hemi/4-Speed: 1965 Chrysler New Yorker
This 1965 Chrysler New Yorker wagon is well equipped with buckets and a console, power features and dual A/C, all in addition to a Sure-Grip LSD rear and an interesting claim of a 426 hemi/4-speed swap performed at a dealership in 1966. No documentation is provided and the hemi is long gone, but the car is offered with a 413 big block and a matching 4-speed, both of which are due for a rebuild. Find it here on eBay in Independence, Missouri for $10k OBO.
Cross Ram 383 D500: 1960 Dodge Polara Convertible
This 1960 Dodge Polara is a D500 cross ram 383 equipped car that’s had some recent sounding restoration work, including fitment of an OEM reproduction interior and an engine rebuild. It looks incredible, and though originality isn’t mentioned, a convertible with this motor is a special car even if it’s not factory original. Find it here on eBay in Fillmore, Utah with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Mike K. for this submission.
No Reserve: 1974 Toyota Celica GT 5-Speed
This 1974 Toyota Celica GT is believed to retain its original paint and engine, and retrofitted early style slim bumpers are a very nice upgrade. The car is a bit scruffy but by no means beyond hope, at least based on what we can see–the seller notes some mild surface rust under the vinyl top, but says that everything else is corrosion free. Find it here on eBay in Salem, Oregon with no reserve.
