Lightly Toasted: 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera 2

b

This 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 (VIN WP0AA2992TS321562) has obviously been through a very intense fire that seems to have also resulted in the building in which it started collapsing, further damaging the car almost to the point of it being unrecognizable. The ad estimates somewhat optimistically that repairs will cost $195k, or roughly the cost of three good 993 C2’s at current market conditions. Find it here on Copart in Detroit, Michigan with no reserve and bidding starting from 60 bucks. Special thanks to BaT reader Steve S. for this submission.

Stored 40 Plus Years: All Original 1970 Jaguar E-Type Roadster

a

This 1970 Jaguar E-type S2 roadster is described as a “true barn find,” the seller claiming that it’s sat in their father’s building for over 40 years. Mileage is quoted as just 8,357, and the car is further claimed to remain all original. It’s dusty and shows some surface rust in spots, but looks like it might clean up very well. Find it here on Craigslist in Syracuse, New York for $60k. Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.

Dusty Driver: 1984 Alfa Romeo GTV6

This 1984 Alfa Romeo GTV6 (VIN ZARAA669XE1006213) is said to have been with the four decade experienced master tech seller since 2009 or so, and they describe it as mechanically and cosmetically excellent throughout. Further said to be fully functional, it’s a bit dusty as photographed, but does look like it’d clean up very nicely. Find it here on eBay in Leesburg, Virginia with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Rob B. for this submission.

999 Euros: Clean 1972 Skoda 110L

This 1972 Skoda 110L is a good looking example that’s said to be a strong runner with just 55k kilometers. The car wears an older respray in what’s presumed to be its factory correct color, but the interior remains original and in what looks to be extraordinarily well preserved conditon. Original Czech paperwork is included in the sale, and should provide for some interesting reading. Find it here on mobile.de in Budapest, Hungary for 999 Euros (-$1,100 USD today)
