Chopped Roof & 911 Power: 1963 Porsche 356B Outlaw
This heavily customized Porsche 356 started life as a 1963 B, but now runs a ’78 SC 3.0 liter six-cylinder, 5-speed 901 transaxle, 911 disc brakes, reinforced suspension uprights and much more. It’s been chopped two inches, headlights have been Frenched, and the door handles are shaved. The seller has now owned it for ten years, and claims that over time it’s been dialed-in to be a very fast, reliable and great sounding driver. Find it here on eBay in Fallbrook, California with an $83k BIN.
No Reserve: 1967 Shelby GT350 Project
This 1967 Shelby GT350 is said to be a legitimate, SAAC registered car on offer by its third owner, who has been in possession for 21 years now. The car sounds to be largely complete and looks very restorable, though its original 289 and 4-speed have been swapped out for an unspecified Granada V8/automatic combo–a date correct but non-matching numbers, SAAC verified Shelby long block is available separately. Find it here on eBay in Alpharetta, Georgia with no reserve and fast bidding. Special thanks to BaT reader Frank for this submission.
446 Stroker/4-Speed: 1967 Plymouth Satellite
This 1967 Plymouth Satellite runs a mean looking stroker 440 big block and retains what’s said to be its original A833 4-speed manual. Described as an “awesome running driver quality car,” it looks sharp in photos with dark colors and carries a relatively low-key, no-nonsense street machine vibe that’s very appealing. Find it here on Craigslist in Colonial Heights, Virginia for $22,900. Special thanks to BaT reader Matt P. for this submission.
Complete Project: 1957 BMW Isetta
This 1957 BMW Isetta is obviously a project, but the seller says it’s entirely complete apart from the seat, and adds that its 300cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine may be salvageable as well. Though described as a British market model, most of those cars had a single rear wheel rather than the standard close-coupled items seen here–left hand drive is incorrect for a UK car, too. Rust looks extensive, but provided parts can be found, these are mechanically simple cars, and rising values mean restoration may make sense. Find it here on Craigslist in New Bedford, Massachusetts for $5,500. Special thanks to BaT reader DB for this submission.
