20K-Miles: 1993 Ford F250 XLT Diesel 4×4
This 1993 Ford F-250 (VIN 2FTHF26C8PCB14295) is an unusually well preserved and lightly used example that has 20,600 miles on the odometer. Powered by the 7.3 liter turbodiesel V8 coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission and said to have had only one other owner aside from the seller, this truck spent most of of the last 20 years parked in a barn after the original owner suffered an injury and was rendered unable to drive a manual. Said to clean up nicely with no dents and a corrosion free underside, this F-250 is a true time capsule that’s still being broken in. Find it here on eBay in Santa Cruz, California with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Chuck G. for this submission.
Quirky Euro Rally Car: 1978 Renault 5 GTL
8/23/2016 Update: Seven years later, this 1978 Renault 5 GTL is once again on offer, this time with a new Gitanes livery. That is a long time in LeCar years! Find it here on the Renault Club Board again in Colorado for $6,000 obo. Special thanks to BaT reader Mark J. for this update!
1500 Miles: 1973 Opel GT
This 1973 Opel GT (chassis 0Y07NC-3247798) is described by the seller as being “as close to new as you’re going to get,” and with fewer than 1,500 miles accumulated in over four decades, we doubt that a similarly pristine version exists this side of the factory museum. Find it here on eBay in Madison, Georgia, with a buy-it-now of $35,000. Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.
Seating for Six: 1974 Jensen Interceptor SIII & Parts Stash
This 1974 Jensen Interceptor S3 (chassis 22111421) sounds to be a big project made worse in the hands of an untrustworthy electrical shop, said to be responsible for a lost flywheel and the car’s numerous dents. Believed to be a lifetime California car, it’s fortunately claimed otherwise complete and solid, and sale includes a long list of spares. Find it here on eBay in Santa Rosa, California with no reserve beyond a $10k starting bid.
