Split Windows Included: 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Project
This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette is a first year C2 model with the split rear window which disappeared for ’64. The seller says it has a rust free frame and birdcage, but apart from the rear windows, it’s a “what you see is what you get” type of sale, and that doesn’t include the non-original motor seen here. Still, if truly a legit ’63 it should be worth saving, and the lack of originality means it wouldn’t be a sin to do a tasteful restomod. Find it here on eBay in Fort Wayne, Indiana with a $15k BIN.
Blue on Blue: Restored 1961 Mercedes-Benz 300D
This 1961 Mercedes-Benz 300D (chassis 18901012002849) is described as “authentically restored and ready to go,” the seller further claiming that everything including the clock is in working order. These big sedans were typically painted in dark, conservative colors, but this light blue over blue car looks fantastic, both in design and condition. Though lesser known that the 600 Grosser and later S-class flagships, these earlier postwar executive models are just as impressive in their engineering and build quality, and this one looks like one of the better restored examples we’ve seen in some time. Find it here on Craigslist near Richmond, California for $54k. Special thanks to BaT reader Paul K. for this submission.
Berlina Bianca: Two Owner 1971 Lancia Fulvia
This 1971 Lancia Fulvia Berlina (chassis 018834) is a claimed two owner car in overall excellent condition with 41k miles. Coupes are generally more sought-after, but these four-door cars are quite good looking in a very boxy, Alfa Giulia kind of way. This one appears to be excellent inside and out, and the seller says it’s a joy to drive, its narrow V4 revving sweetly and 5-speed offering slick shifts. Find it here on eBay in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with reserve not met.
Unusually Well Preserved: 1985 Dodge Ramcharger
This 1985 Dodge Ramcharger (VIN 1B4GW12W1FS587355) is an unusually well preserved and tastefully modified Royal SE Prospector III edition that’s equipped with a four-barrel 360 V8. Offered with the option of a 1968 15′ Crestliner Marauder boat that’s also Mopar powered, the truck is a refreshing alternative to more commonly seen Blazers and Broncos. Find it here on Craigslist in Westminster, Maryland for $18k.
