One-Off Pavesi Ventorosso: 1989 Ferrari 412 Convertible
This 1989 Ferrari 412 wears custom Ventorosso convertible bodywork by little-known Milanese carrozzeria Pavesi, the results of which are mixed. Regardless of its looks, condition seems to be excellent throughout, mileage is given as just 30k kilometers, and the seller says mechanicals are tip-top–best of all, it’s a V12/5-speed car, and one-off, coachbuilt Ferraris certainly don’t come any cheaper. Find it here on mobile.de in Calvatone, Italy for 120k euros (~$134k USD today). Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.
Korman M5 S38 Swap: 1972 BMW 3.0CS Coupe
This 1972 BMW 3.0CS is a stunning Fjord Blue example that’s described as having been restored over a three year period, bolt by bolt, by Korman Autoworks of Greensboro, North Carolina. Powered by a rebuilt, M5-sourced S38 straight-six and fitted with modernized suspension, this E9 packs significantly more performance than stock, and the high level of finish seen throughout is especially impressive. Find it here on Craigslist in Greensboro, North Carolina for $110k. Special thanks to BaT reader Ian C. for this submission.
Early 2.0 Liter Driver w/ Rare Hardtop: 1968 Fiat Dino Spider
This 1968 Fiat Dino Spider is an early 2.0 liter model that’s said to be complete minus its bumpers. A rare factory hardtop is noted as well. The seller says that the car is “very solid and honest,” with needs limited to cosmetic refreshing inside and out. The car certainly seems to have potential, but the missing bumpers, incorrect Ferrari badging, and monochromatic look do a pretty good job of disguising it. Find it here at Gullwing in Astoria, New York for $79,500.
40 Years Owned: 1958 Fiat 1200 Spider
This 1958 Fiat 1200 Spider is one of just 3,400 or so built, earlier versions of which were badged 1100 TV Trasformabile. This one looks excellent, and is said to have been with the seller since 1967, at which point the new 124 Spider had already rendered these earlier roadsters seriously obsolete–there’s no twin cam or four wheel discs here, just humble 1100 underpinnings underneath a very pretty and distinct Luigi Rapi designed body. Find this one here on Craigslist in Denver, Colorado for $48k. Special thanks to BaT reader Sam M. for this submission.
