Nicest One Left: 1986 AMC Eagle 4×4 Wagon
This 1986 AMC Eagle wagon (VIN 2CCCK3873GB700411) is said to be in very nice shape, with some minor nose touch-ups and a little under 33k original miles. Purchased new in South Dakota. the car doesn’t seem to have wandered far in 30 years. Groundbreaking when new, these cars signaled the way for the popularity of today’s 4WD Subaru wagons. Powered by AMC’s ubiquitous 258ci inline-six, loaded with options, well documented and very clean, this might be the nicest one left. Find it here on eBay in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for $21,500 OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader David L. for this submission.
$10K OBO Drivable Doka: 1965 Volkswagen T2 Project
This 1965 Volkswagen Type 2 Doka runs and drives, but will obviously need some work to be brought back to tip-top condition. Restoration will require some metal work, but we’ve seen worse brought back from the dead, and early driver Dokas aren’t typically seen at this low end of the market. Find it here on Craigslist in Seven Springs, Pennsylvania for $10k OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader Colin A. for this submission.
$3200 Driver in Washington State: 1975 Trabant 601 S
This 1975 Trabant 601 S is a Sonderwunsch or Special Edition model that original came with options like like front and rear fog lamps in addition to an odometer. The description is very brief as is the provided photo gallery, however from what can be seen, the car looks to be in passable driver-level condition, and the seller says it’s fun to drive with a strong running two-stroke twin under its Duroplast hood. Find it here on Craigslist in Everett, Washington for $3,200.
Brazilian Suburban: Restored 1972 Chevrolet Veraneio
This 1972 Chevrolet Veraneio is an unusual and interesting Brazilian market truck that looks to have been restored to a very high standard. Smaller than a US market Suburban but still a fairly large truck, this one runs its original Stovebolt six and three-on-the-tree, as well as factory 11″ brakes and heavy duty suspension. Find it here on carsforsale.com in Sarasota, Florida for $24,900. Special thanks to BaT reader Erich G. for this submission.
