No Bodykit: 1988 Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette

a

This 1988 Chevrolet Corvette is number 114 of 510 examples modified by Callaway Cars to make use of twin turbochargers, a factory option available through GM dealerships in the late 80’s and early 90’s. Mileage is given as 45k and condition is described as excellent, and though this one lacks the famous Sledgehammer bodykit, it does wear signature Dymag/Callaway wheels and comes with the unusual 4+3 manual transmission, where many were automatics. Find it here on Craigslist in Fayetteville, Arkansas for $25k. Special thanks to BaT reader Andres G. for this submission.

Crossflow Kent Power: 1969 TVR Vixen

a

This 1969 TVR Vixen S2 looks good in a bright medium blue, and condition appears to be quite decent despite the seller’s admission it’s been used very little in the past 15 years. A Ford Kent crossflow powered example, there’s no word on running condition, but the engine bay looks quite tidy and it seems like the car drove to this photo location under its own steam. Find it here on eBay in Syosset, New York with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Rich F. for this submission.

Half Gremlin: 17K-Mile 1981 AMC Spirit Sedan

This 1981 AMC Spirit (VIN 1AMCA4653BK105203) is a rarely seen “sedan” variant that shares sheet metal with both its 4×4 Eagle Kammback sibling and Gremlin predecessor. Underpinnings are standard AMC fare including a 258ci six and Chrysler-sourced automatic. We’ve only seen one other in the wild, and this example is much nicer–in fact, with 17k miles, the seller describes it as “museum quality.” Find it here on eBay in Tampa, Florida with no reserve.

Running Project: 1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II

This 1956 Continental Mark II (chassis C56C2483) is one of around 3,000 built largely by hand between late 1955 and 1957. Claimed to have been pulled from long term storage, the seller further notes 99% completeness, with rust contained to the rocker panels and passenger frame outriggers. Currently running, the car has also had recent brake work. Find it here on eBay in Poolesville, Maryland with reserve not met.
