BaT People’s Choice: Best Feature of 2016
Now it is time to have some fun! 2016 was another great year of BaT feature cars. It is time, once again, to vote for your favorite!
The rules: Leave a comment with the link to your favorite BaT Feature car of 2016. Comments and votes without links will be deleted. Please no “I think I remember a fastback Mustang, or was it a notchback?” sort of comments. Be specific! Leave a reason or leave no reason at all. Vote for one feature (either BaT Auction or news feed story) and please just one vote per person.

Inka w/ Procar Nose: 1980 BMW M1
This 1980 BMW M1 is one of 397 made, 98 of which were finished in this color. Claimed to retain all original including its race-bred M88 twin cam six, the car looks to be in outstanding condition and shows 36k kilometers on the odometer. Find it here at Mecum who will oversee its auction in Kissimmee, Florida between January 6th and 15th, 2017. Sale estimates range between $575k-$625k.
Detailed Diesel: 1964 Mercedes-Benz 190D 4-Speed
This 1964 Mercedes-Benz 190D (chassis 1101101033) is a 4-speed manual diesel car that looks very nicely detailed inside, out, and underneath. The seller admits that with ~80 HP it’s no performance machine, but claims that it runs and drives nicely with 100% functionality. Additionally, more than 100 well-shot photos leave few questions regarding cosmetics. Find it here on eBay in Neptune, New Jersey with reserve not met.
