"I saw what I think was the prototype at Henry Austin Clark's now-gone museum in Southampton, New York when I was a little kid, maybe 10 years old. It made a big impression I must say. The Pierce Arrow factory complex still stands on Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo and is now used for other purposes but it still says, "The Pierce-Arrow Motor Company" on the facade.
