"I purchased and built one of these kits in 1972. Talked my parents into letting me build it in my bedroom because of the Arizona heat. Moved bed and all furniture out and went to town. Used the bathtub to soak and bend wood, smelled up the house with glues and varnishes - the whole works. Was a lot of fun until I realized I was unable to get the finished project out of the room (14 years old - not a lot of advance planning)!
