"If I may add that the Kent crossflow is easily — and inexpensively compared to the Lotus Twin-Cam — capable of significant power increases. The hottest Ford spec was in the 85 to 95 HP range. Simply fitting DCOEs bumps it in the 110 to 120 HP range. From there 140 to 150 is about the limit to still have a sweet-driving, torquey, street engine.
