Giant Project: Tired 1986 Aston Martin Lagonda
This 1986 Aston Martin Lagonda is offered for restoration and looks like a bit of a nightmare project. Paint is shot, the interior is toast and we’re willing to bet it doesn’t run, either. It still looks amazing though, particularly when surrounded by ho-hum everyday street traffic like in many of the ad’s photos. Find it here on Hemmings in Astoria, New York for $26,500. One of 43: 1967 Triumph TR4A Dové
This 1967 Triumph TR4A is one of 43 coupes made by London-based coachbuilder Dove. Fully restored and reportedly in very good condition, only 12 or so are estimated to remain making this attractive little 2+2 among the rarest of all old Triumphs. Restoration work included new paint, a refurbished interior and rebuilt mechanicals, too. Find it here on Leboncoin in Lyon, France for 37,500 euros (~$40,850 today). One Owner: Concours Winning 1982 Volvo 242 DL
This 1982 Volvo 240 DL (VIN YV1AX4128C3214822) is on offer by its original owner who describes it as a 97.3 point, concours-winning and former VCOA magazine cover car. Further described as largely original and mechanically healthy, the car does look excellent in photos, especially for its near-140k miles. 26K Miles: Original 1982 BMW 320i
This 1982 BMW 320i (VIN WBAAG3308C8055456) is an American market car delivered fresh from the factory to its first owner in Munich. Shipped back to the US shortly afterward, the car spent 23 years in storage until its subsequent discovery and careful recommissioning.
