Globe Circling Camper: 2006 International 7400 Expedition Rig
This 2006 International Harvester 7400 4×4 seems to have been converted into a very expensive and high end expedition type camper from new. Now offered with about 40k miles accumulated under one owner, it’s safe to say it’s been around the world but still looks to be in fantastic shape. The ad describes it as both proven and well-maintained, and with a 1,600 mile range from twin 100 gallon tanks, it’s probably only been filled-up a few dozen times. Find it here on Unicat in Dettenheim, Germany for $500k. Special thanks to BaT reader IgnatiusReilly for this submission.
Rare LHD Coupe: 1963 Ford Consul Capri Project
This 1963 Ford Consul Capri coupe is an unusual left hand drive example. In need of restoration it is however said to run and be solid in the rockers and frame. These cars weren’t a market success in their day, though their wild styling and rarity make them worth the effort to preserve. Find this one here on Craigslist in Dallas, Texas for $5k. Special thanks to BaT reader Geoff A. for this submission.
Claimed 10th Built: 1934 Chrysler Airflow Project
This 1934 Chrysler Airflow (chassis 9755181) appears to be a fairly complete, very early example in need of some attention in order to return to optimal condition. The Airflow was among the first cars ever designed with the aid of a wind tunnel, and these first year cars offer the purest representation of this groundbreaking but ultimately unsuccessful model. Find this one here on eBay in Harrisonburg, Virginia for $16k OBO.
Backdated Nose: Mild Custom 1955 Studebaker Conestoga
This 1955 Studebaker Conestoga is an attractively updated example of Stude’s smallest 1950’s family-hauler. Like the Chevrolet Nomad and Pontiac Safari, the Conestoga is a two-door wagon riding a short-for-the-time 116″ wheelbase. This attractive example wears the nose of a ’54 Conestoga, a marked improvement over the styling changes made for ’55. Find it here on eBay in Tacoma, Washington with a $25k BIN.
