15+ Years and Unfinished: 1961 Maserati 3500GT
This 1961 Maserati 3500GT (chassis 1011378) is in the process of being restored to what is described as Pebble Beach quality. Work began in 2000 however the seller acquired the car in 1985 and since paint, bodywork, and mechanicals have all been addressed. Interior components are said to be present but aren’t shown along with wheels, trim, etc. but weatherstripping and other unmentioned items aren’t included. Find it here on eBay in La Verne, California.
1979 Volvo 242 GT
This 1979 Volvo 242 GT (chassis VC2425M1165401) is a good-looking example of one of the rarest and most desirable bricks of the era. Several nice IPD upgrades are mentioned in the ad, and though paint isn’t original, we dig the retrofitted OEM style GT stripes package. Find it here on eBay in Oregon City, Oregon with reserve not met.
Wash Me: 1961 Fiat 2100 Project
This 1961 Fiat 2100 is said to have been sitting since it was about 12 years old and is being sold by a friend of the previous owner. Large Fiats of this era have a lot to offer in terms of style and comfort, and we especially like the small-displacement straight six in this one–it’d be great to see it after a wash. Find it here on eBay in Otis Orchards, Washington for $10,500 OBO.
Anglo-Gallic: 1962 Citroen Bijou
This 1962 Citroen Bijou is a rare UK-built Citroen: of the only 212 built, this is number 70. Based on 2CV underpinnings, it features more shapely fiberglass bodywork than its steel-bodied sister car. We’ve only seen one other example of this car before, and it was also located in the UK. Find it here on eBay UK in Durham, United Kingdom for £6k (~$9,152 USD today). Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.
